SV 650 TPS adjustment tip

If any of you SV riders have a problem with jerky response at low rpms on your 03+ bike, check out SVrider.com for how to on the adjustment. It smooths that out SO much.

Good luck folks!

Hello Friends,

Since it's the off season here in Ohio, I have been doing some mods to the bike. I installed an M4 slip-on not too long ago and realized that I have to do the PAIR mod, so that will be done this weekend. I had been reading a lot about the TPS mod that it seems most of you had done. However, there seemed to be mixed reviews. Gain in throttle response, much more confident at lower RPMs. But then I've also seen posts where people said they had lost power. Needless to say, I'm no closer to my decision than I was when I first started reading about that mod.

Thanks and Regards,
Umang Kumar
