I think that after Aprilia purchased the company in 2001(i think) that they are pretty much in a holding pattern. None of the offical company websites have anything but the logo on an orange page.

There used to be a place here in Indianapolis that sold them, they where really nice looking bikes and seemed to use a lot of the best stuff available. But a 750cc parallel twin just doesn't appeal to me that much. The looks where great, but for the price there where much better bikes out there. That is of cours just my opinion.

Looks can be deceiving.

Oil leaks, generator failures, broken clip-ons ( yep ). I seriously looked at the Naked Laverda Ghost when I bought the ZR-7. To many horror stories when I wanted a reliable daily rider.

Used 1996-97 models sell here for about USD3000.
