Naked SuperHawk

Since the "Naked" Forum is up and running I'll add my submission:

You can find a couple pics at:

99 Superhawk without the bodywork, added a HawkGT headlight and bicycle bar-end mirror. Superhawks have rubber mounted bar-ends, so regular motorcycle bar-end mirrors are to heavy and end up spinning and pointing at the ground.

It looks really good!
Do the rads work OK without the fairing? I thought that this sideways radiator position is used in conjunction with the fairing scoops or something.
Just curious

I have been looking at my next naked bike, and had considered a project of making one from a VTR1000 or TRX850.

Question is, did you de-nude it as a result of a crash, or just decided to go naked ? Any probs encountered either way ?
