Anyone ever ride through the White Mountains?

Rode through it yesterday and passed through Showlow, Payson, and back home. I must say that I was very impressed with how my gixxer 1k handled though the twisties. I didn't lean her too far since my wife was a passenger , but in all it was fun. I made the ride with my sister-in-law (Honda Shadow), her boyfriend (another cruiser), his friend (in a Ducati), and a couple in Goldwing. Only thing missing was a dual sport . Should get something like this going with all the sportbike enthusiasts in here. Weather wise: We left at 6am. It was cold, but the ride back was a little hot for my taste. That is all for now.

I spent the weekend up there two weekends ago. I did the Coronado Trail. Look it up! No traffic and no cops! 500 turns in 92 miles. From Alpine to Morenci. I will be doing that trip again in three weekend. The weekend of the 18th. Elevation of 9k and probably a high of 60 to 70 deg. MARCO!!! TAKE SATURDAY OFF AND LETS GO SISSY!

Didn't really see any cops out there. We left at 6am. It was nice and brisk out, but the ride back was a little hot for my taste.

I'm down for a ride anytime (schedule permitting). I'm off satuday-tuesday, saturday's are every other week (if that makes sense). It'd be cool to finally meet some other sport bike enthusiasts.

Yo man I'm definately down But I ripped to front end off the RR, so highway sucks, But you know I'm always down for a ride.

Maybee I'll try to come over after work one day, I'm in your hood, but If you can take off a Sat. that would be great. We could have it ready for Sun. I'll call ya.

BTW I'm legal now finally, got my plate and stuff last weekend, dood the line for the MVD was out to the street on Sat.

I'll take any pocketbike challenge as long as I don't have to hear Nic whining about his gearing or bad premix or he shouldn't have had the supersize McDonalds cuz now he weighs to much to go fast..... .... J/K Nic
