04 honda's...what do u think?

What do you think about the new '04 models? The 1000RR looks pretty sweet - I cannot wait to see the specs on it - weight and HP.

The new colors on the 600RR kick ass.. I love the black/silver. I cannot decide what I think about the blue.. pretty cool.

My only complaint is on the new F4i - what's up with the seat? Why would they go back to the long single seat? Plus, the handle on the back is so bad.

Just my two cents, curious what everybody else thinks.

The 1000's are bad ass. The f4i going retro with the seat is not a good thing. Honda seems to be moving forward which is a good thing.

the hp for the 1000rr is rumored to be 163
the R1 is rumored at 180 (They haven't been right yet)
I think the numbers are:
R1- 180
ZX10R- ~170
CBR- 163
GSXR1000 160
but with those, the Honda will smoke everyone everywhere but the 1/4, and maybe even there you can't wheelie the new body style very easily, makes for a better launch.

okay..i have been doing some research..obviously.
they're saying the Honda is 180 hp now
they had it at Barber
The damper measures your speed, adjusts the damping accordingly, the faster you go, the stiffer it is.. reduces side to side vibrations at high speeds
you don't turn the clipons much to turn when you're going fast
at slow speeds, you do turn alot more, so less force against side to side limits tankslappers
