IS D&D an alright company?

I know you guys told me not to waste my money on a full system, but i can't spend $400 on a can right now. and there are no cans on ebay, but there are full systems for $100-200. Is D&D good? I thought i read someone say they wearnt. If i get a full system, is it easy to put on? or is a pain to take off all the plastic and such?

If you put on a full system you are also going to have to buy a jet kit. (More $$$)

D&D is a good company, but the pipes are very loud.

Ok, so if i jet it, where do I get it installed and tuned (I have to right?). This just gets more and more confusing. Hmm, i could buy that carbon fiber full exhaust that i listed, but just put the can on for now and wait til i get a job before i start spending more money on it. Or would that can not hookup right with my stock pipes?

Does jetting require a carb rebuild, or is it just swapping the parts? Because $102 for a new full carbon fiber exhaust is too good to be true.

Thanks robert, i went and talked to french today. I think what i might do is wait until the last minutes of the auction and bid up to probably around 250-300. If it goes higher then i'll just get a slip-on. French said he would charge me $120 to install and tune to kit, and he said i should put a k&n on too.

so, 250+100+120+20=$490. A little more than what i wanted to spend, but hey, thats being impulsive and wanting stuff right? I should be able to do the exhuast work myself right? Just take off the fairing, and loosen a bunch of nuts and bolts, right?

BTW, why did french recomend Two Brothers? I've heard only bad.

bidding on ebay

I agree with French. My wifes mother is an ebay-a-holic, and all she does is wait until the last minute and bids on items. In regards to those prices, those are smoking deals if you can get the pipes off ebay.

Good luck
