— Over the past ten years the third Wednesday in July has become an important day on the calendar for everyone who rides a motorcycle. The third Wednesday in July (July 18 this year) is Ride To Work Day, the day that all motorcyclists are encouraged to ride their bike to work in order to help change public attitudes about motorcycling in ways that will benefit all motorcycle enthusiasts. http://www.speedvision.com/pub/articles/motorcycles/08cnews/010711a.html
Cool, I did not know that! I have been riding for about 5 years, and to this day I have never heard of Ride to Work Day. Thanks for sharing that info man. Too bad it has to be in July. Arizonans get the crappy end of that deal.
So in order to change public attitude for the better we shouldn't be riding wheelies to work and back that day!
