Big Problem

Hey I just bought a ex500 and just got my training course as well, im 21 male looking for insurance.

But I can't find any

statefarm: needs 5 years and a G Liscense to be eligable, dont have yet

Prinnum : I have 2 tickets, there comming off next spring but they won't insure me unless I only have 1.

Anyone have any suggestions on a good company, does jevco do ontario as well ? any others, im pretty desperate, so if anyone has any experience with companys id really appreciate some help

I don't know much about the insurance in CA, but I feel you pain. Getting insurance is a pain in the butt. Hopefully Smitty will catch wind on this thread and be able to help you out. He rides in the snowy white north as well, and has been doing so for quite a while, so I'm sure he has some good ideas. Good luck in the mean time.

Though we are both Cdns we are in different Provinces as you are in Ontario & I am in B.C. All Provinces are different & especially the Provincial run insurance firms like Insurance Corp of B.C.

All I can do is suggest you drop around, of phone, to different m/c shops & ask the staff to possibly other riders around at the shop. Sorry but that is the best I can do. Not to many Cdns on this board. Some I agree but cannot recall if any are in Ontario let alone Ottawa.

Remember all the others on the road are crazy & out to kill you.

I posted a link in the other insurance thread in this section BikeJock, check it out, it's a list of bike friendly insurance companies in On.

Maybe it'll help.
