Question insurance... is that a good price or can I get better!

I just called my insurance company and got a quote for a 2003 ninja ex500 as this will be my first bike. They told my liability only it would cost my $1400 a year.

I am from ontario canada and would like to hear if I can get a better price or this is cheaper then most.

I pay $800 a year through State Farm.

I'm Male, 31, with an M2 License, clean abstract.

I ride a '98 GSXR 750

$1400 sounds like a fairly cheap rate for a new rider who's under 25, if that's the case.

Check this link, you may strike gold.

Good luck,

It's the plates that'll kill you in Quebec isn't it?

Primmum seems to be pretty well regarded hereabouts.
