Howdy from Halifax

Hey everyone...My 04 ZX-10R will be here any day now and I'm dying for some good weather! I haven't biked since I've moved to Halifax, can anyone let me in on the places where Sportbikes hang out? I know that the HD's meet at Perks. Thanks!

Hello Burner. Did you get the ZX-10 yet? I'm down in the Annapolis Valley and ride a 2001 GSXR-750.

It's funny you asked! I walked in the door about 15 minutes ago after 5 hours and 282 kms on my bike. I only picked it up today from Freedom Cycle (in Bayers Lake) and got pulled over by a cop with 40 kms on the odometer. Turns out that he's got a GSXR 1000 and just wanted to look at my 10!

I've got something to say... It's better to burn out, than to fade away!

Nice, good the cop didn't hassle you too much. What colour did you get? I was just down at Freedom last week to buy some Michelin Pilots on sale at $369 a set. As for the meeting places I'm not 100% sure as I'm down in the valley but I believe a bunch of sportbikers meet every friday evening in Bedford at the Tim Hortons just across from Sobeys, where the movie theatres are. Enjoy the new machine I'll bet it is awesome.

My bike is Bitchin' Black and I am in love! Thanks for the heads up on Tim's. I'll have a Large Double Double for you!

Nice bike Burner. The ZX-10 is one of my choices for next year when I sell mine for a litre bike.

Hi Guys

All bikes meet at the Tim's in Coldbrook on Tue nights, they meet for awhile then all go on a burn. I haven't gone yet but talked to many who have and they say it's a blast. Have fun!
