there's you & me (I think I've e-mailed you before) and there was a guy from St. Albert. There's a couple from Calgary ( ) but I think you & I are the only ones active.

Doesn't this weather suck?!!! I'm just about to start up the bike and we get January's weather now. The weather turned the day I decided to get a new bike and sell the sled ..... it figures. At least I'll get to ride the sled once this year.

I've got a deal lined up on a CBR1100xx but I've got to wait for warm weather as the bike's in Calgary, and I don't believe in trailering bikes ( you RIDE bikes, you don't trailer them......except Harleys, but then you don't have a choice )

BTW, anyone in Edm/Calg. area interested in a GSXR750 let me know.

Unhappy Had a taste, should have stayed home!

Well the head cold I aquired from going for a rip into Edmonton on March 30/02 has finally gone away. I am stuck now with a tragic case of spring fever. +10 tommorrow!!! Yaa Hooo! I have a couple of snow machines for sale if anyone wants something to store in their garages.

Thumbs up

Tomorrow should be a good one. Also the first time I'll have my bike out this year. Can't wait.

I picked up my bike from Calgary yesterday. 10 degrees isn't alot when you doing 140 down hwy 2 and there's snow in the ditches. Didn't matter though. I was dressed for it and enjoyed myself completely. Wasn't as cold once in the city.

Is it just me or does there seem to be ALOT of sand/gravel on the streets this year?

Yeah its seems to be worse than it was last year. But this time next year I'll probably be saying "Gee, there sure is a lot of gravel this year"

after today's snow, there'll be even more gravel. Maybe a dirt bike is what we need here for March & April riding.

Cool soda jerks

How do you think they would feel about taking snow machines to soda jerks instead of the bikes this spring?
Oh well it gave me some time to rip the bike apart and make some further mods to it. Should have a pretty good run this year. Regardless of weather.

With 30 cm snow out there, I'm thinking sledding is not a bad idea. I think I'll head out to the farm and go for it. If you can't ride your bike, you might as well have some fun.
