$1,000 reward

I know this is a very LONG shot but.....

My wife's car was stolen today from the Ray Rd / 101 area.

2002 White Dodge Stratus
Black limo tinted windows front and rear.
18" aluminum 5 spoke wheels
Low profile tires
License plate # AZ 626HZZ

Car is the only one like it I have seen in the Phoenix area. I know it's a long shot but what the hell. The reason for the reward is not really for the car but for some non-replaceable personal photos of a now deceased friend in the glove box. (I know, I'm a dumbass for leaving them in the glovebox).

Thanks for reading.

Just got back from the tow yard. The car was found (and two people caught driving it) in Tempe. An adult male and adult female. We also found out they were released tonight under house arrest. Less than 24 hours in jail and house arrest for grand theft auto???

The Photos and all of the contents of the glove box are missing.

They punched out the passenger side door lock and the ignition so there is no broken glass (looks like it was a professional job). Two of the aluminum wheels are gouged (hit a curb?). The air cleaner was removed from the motor (no idea on why). A bunch of (non valuable) personal stuff was stolen from the trunk as well. They also removed the (non replaceable) tribute sticker for a friend who passed away recently we had in the back window.

I'm happy that we got the car back and that it was not crashed. But I am VERY pissed that the Photos are gone. I'm still hoping to maybe get them back since they caught the people that stole it but I'm not going to get my hopes up.

Thanks for the support everyone. Now we get to fight with our insurance company to get everything fixed.

Glad you got the car back. I live around Ray and Alma so any time you need some eyes drop a line. I think we all would have helped regardless of the reward.

My truck got stolen back in June. I got it back with the ignition and door lock punched, and every item in the truck gone, plus the truck box, stereo, and subwoofer.

Pictures of who? I haven't heard of anyone going since Ben.

That sucks.

I had gotten really lazy about leaving important things in the car. We are the number one state for auto theft, so its kinda a wake up call. Don't leave anything in your car.
