Let me know next time your in the Mobile area. I gotta do some work to my bike but I'll have her back on the road soon. I gotta tear it down and rebuild the bottom end, maybe a new crank. I had a friend take it to Halls Motorsports in daphne, al to put in a new clutch. When he picked it up he rode it out of the parking lot and it locked up. Halls did not refill it with oil so he rode off with no oil. Halls refuses to take responsibility nor will Suzuki. It's not my friends fault. The low oil indicator is on the led screen so he didn't know to look, hell he never had time to look. He barley made it out of the parking lot. I completely blame halls. They told Suzuki all kinds of bs trying to cover their ass. It's a long story and it ends with me screwed. Fortunately it is an easy rebuild. I got it unlocked and everything is fine apparently except the bearings. It turns over but as soon as it fires a couple of time it locks right back up. I'm going to attempt a bottom end rebuild soon. It's a 1000cc vtwin so it's pretty cut and dry. I just don't really have all the tools I need so that's a problem but doing it isn't a major issue. I've been doing my homework at tlzone. Should be simple. I've built engines before but not 4 stroke motorcycle engines. Hoping to find someone locally to hold my hand. Either way should have her riding one wheel again in no time.
I live in Slidell but work in New Orleans, although since I'm still new to riding I stay away from New Orleans on my bike. Ride an 2014 r6. I normally ride down to the coast every weekend so hit me up sometime. (Nine85)7zero7-8zerotwofive text me
