Talking Spring Break!

a few of us are going to Daytona, and Kissimmee for spring break, so far there's 8 total, 4 are riding there myself included. we will be there March 23 through March 30. we would like to know where's a good spot for some twisters, and some good riding. or even to hang out.

If you head to Daytona first, take 295 around Jacksonville, exit Hwy 13 south, San Jose Blvd. At first it is a city street. Just off the freeway on the left is Wal-mart. Past the light, in the next shopping mall on the left is a Panera Bread Co. Stop for lunch. Continue South on 13 for about 4 or 5 miles and you cross the Julington Creek bridge. A mile past that there will be a couple of miles of construction but it flows ok except weekday after 3:30 to about 6:00. Past the construction it narrows down to two lane and starts wandering about. No serious twistys but follows the East side of the St. Johns river and is a very senic ride.
Stay on 13 until you hit 207, take 207 South to Palatka get on 17 South and run all the way to Deland. This route keeps you following the river all the way. From Deland it is about a 15min freeway run to Daytona.

From Panera to Deland about 2 hour ride or a little more. If you go freeway, 95 it can be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours because of massive construction on 95 between Jacksonville and Daytona.
