Well the subject line pretty much said it all. If you know anyone who is really great at getting an engine tuned up let me know.

Where is Hinesville, North or South GA? Is it time for regular maintenance or is the bike running rough? Either way, I would probably take it to the dealer for service. The dealer "should" have a mechanic that is trained to work on the R6. I know the dealer is probably more expensive but if they screw something up they will stand behind their work.

Good Luck

Hinesville is down by savanah. I goto the dealer all the time they do a good job but for a real good tune on race engine you just can't beat an old shade tree machanic who knows what he's doin. Think about it, you know of any NASCAR drivers that take thier car into the dealer! yeah right I can just see that happening now. And I bet valentino rossi character didn't get his bike tuned up at the dealership. That's why I'm lookin for someone who knows what their doin. That's the thing though, they got to know what their doin. That's what I'm having trouble finding. My regular machanic use to live in ohio. now he's dead. So I'm lookin for a new one

hey thomas, i used to live in savannah. two people to talk to are adam at superbikes or kevin who works in the service department at the honda bike shop there. kevin's really laid back, one hell of a rider, and from what i hear a hell of a mechanic. if you talk to kevin, tell him i said hey and thanks for the ride to the hospital when i wadded my ninja in 2001.
