Does NESBA give you good opportunities to get on the track? I was thinking about joingin this group, but wasn't sure about track time etc.

I can't say for sure...but according to the schedule for each day, you get one 20 minute session every hour or so.

Three groups: advanced, inermediate, and beginner. Everybody rides in 20 minute sessions and the groups rotate.

Check out www.nesba.com for more info.

They give you plenty of time. I think it is a good layout, you ride for 15-20 minutes then break for 30-40 minutes then ride then break and so on. You have to take a break for about an hr at lunch time, got to give the corner people and the ambulance people a break for lunch.

Also check out www.teampromotion.com they run there days a little different, since they are not as big as NESBA. At Beaverun, they will usually make it open track all day, except the hr for lunch. So basically you ride whenever you want and if you are a beginner, you get an X on the back of your helmet, so the more experienced riders know not to mess around with you and scare the crap out of ya.

They are both excellent and operate in a totally professional manor and will give you all the info you need about bike setup and all that, if you just ask. Remember to pressure down the tires when riding track.

NESBA gives you plenty of time

If you have never ridden on the track before, sign up for the "beginner" class.

You will have PLENTY of time on the track, trust me!!!! By the end of the day your bike and you will have had enough!

This past summer I've done VIR North, CMP, VIR South, and I'm signed up for CMP in November too.
