Cool Tacoma/Seattle riders??

I live in Parkland (Spanaway) in Washington. Any riders interested in hooking up for rides? Like my sn suggests, I am a solo rider. I need to ride with peepz with more experience than me (a lot more) because I can't really learn that quickly riding by myself all the time.

I have an '03 600rr.

I don't want to ride with those wheely poppin' stoppie (endo) pullin' tire burnin' posers. So if you are a genuine knee sliding, cannon carving, sport rider, then please reply to this thread.

P.S. I ride up to Seattle all the time so if you live in Seattle, thas cool too.

If you really want to learn to ride, why not come out to the Adrenaline Freaks track day at Pacific Raceways tomorrow (Thursday, 5/6/04)? You can certainly get your knee down out there!

If you want to "drag knee" why are you riding in seattle, or tacoma for that matter? Not to criticise but from your post it sounds like your interested in doing some real riding...there is no place to do that in the cities you mentioned. IMHO.

If you want to ride, find a map and look for very unpopulated windy roads, commute to them and have fun, that's my recommendation.

Also the AF track day is a very good deal and about the only place to really step up and ride at a higher level.

I'm with Wissler. Riding up to Seattle isn't a ride. Take the backroads to St. Helens, or take the Hwy 12 pass over to Naches, Olympic Penn loop, etc.

And frankly, your profile says the 600RR is your first bike and you crashed it within 1 week of purchase. Not sure I want to be anywhere near you on a ride until you get MUCH more experience under your belt. No disrespect, just an honest observation.

Federal Way Wa here...

New rider myself, just bought 2004 gsx-r 600. Not a show off or speedracer. Just like to get out, look good, and ride hard.

Reply to this if you want to hook up and ride, Spanaway is close to me...

Good 'ol Eburg here.

I sold my 600 to my buddy who crashed it 150 miles later, then 2 weeks later blew the tranny. F'N Noobs. Its almost done at the shop then he will be back riding again. I will ride with noobs as long as they are following me. Got to learn sometime. So if you ever head over the mountains this way PM me.
