Question I'm here...sortta

Hiyya folks, I'm James and I'm soo new to the Seattle area that all my gear is there and I'm not. I just moved from MD in June and when I arived in Washington, I hopped on an ice breaker (big red boat) a week later and left. So here i am way north of Alaska trying to meet some people who share the same passion that I do. Quick history a bout my ridin'. Been at it for around ten years and am on my third bike, currently a 2000 spec 929. Done alot of trackdays in northern Cali when I lived there and a couple at Summit Point when I was in MD. I'll ride anytime I'm off and with just about anybody, the more riders the merrier. So enough yappin' from me feed me some about you all and the area(read as twisty roads) and where the rider hangouts are.

Yeah, my ride is in seattle, it's still in the crate they shipped it across in. We pull back in Nov.1 so I'll obviously miss the ride but as soon as she's ripped outta that cage and wrenched on for a few hours we'll see you on the road. Not very familiar with the area but I assume there is some twisty btwn seattle and your area and some twistier stuff the further you get from the city??Thank's for the invite and I"ll be trying to keep up with what's going on in the area through the site. Latta.

A ride out to Leavenworth before the cold weather hits would be a great way to start your Washington experience. The town is a great destination and there are a couple ways to get there. I would also recommend a ride out to Mt. Rainier. They are both perfect day trips. Good luck and enjoy Washington. I know I miss it a lot.

Cool

You are right, that is a great road, and while you are out that way don't forget to try the road up to Hurricane Ridge. The bad part is it costs five bucks to go up there!!
Happy T-Day to all!!
