Question What tires to get ?

It is time to replace the rear tire on my Honda 919. It came with
Bridgestone BT-056's. They worked good, always felt good........

Got 4000 miles on them. No burnouts.....

Thinking of putting on Bridgestone BT-012SS. Does anyone know
anything about then ?

Should I replace the front with the back ?

???????????

I'm on my second BT-012SS on the rear of my ZX-9 and love'em. They heat right up, stick well and while I don't make a habit of riding in the rain, they work great. I got 3500 miles out of the last back tire and would have gotten more but I flat spotted it one day on a 550 mile freeway sprint I would replace the front with the same model as what is on the back. May run into handling issues if you mismatch them.

Dear Dr Sard, I have also run the Bridgestones as a favor to a friend. They seem identical to the Michelin Sport tec M-1's. Both tires I work great. 4500 - 5000 miles I was running on cords but the potential for a easy tire to warm up which works for the track and street is very high with both of these tires. Summer is coming so the Super Cosa's will be coming out. Catch ya later.

I diddent think Michelin made the Sport Tecs. I thought that was a Metzler tire.

I prefer the Michelin Pilots myself.
