Hi, Ms. Endo Queen and others:

I find local rides through a number of other special interest groups to which I belong. A car club, church, other special groups where I find riders. We ride around Mt. Rainier, to Eastern WA, along the Columbia, behind Mt. St. Helens, down to SW WA (a good day ride is down to Centralia for a good burger at Bill & Bea's, best burger joint around that area). There isn't anywhere worth my time for a truly short ride around the Seattle area. I do ride to Tacoma, through the industrial area, and downtown and along the waterfront past all the restaurants to Pt. Defiance Park and back home. That is probably my best local short ride from where I live (Auburn).
