So when are the bikes comming out of hibernation hmmm??

Im getting antsy. I think im going to start the bike this weekend. How about you guys? ( i know some of you are hardcore with your electric vests and thermal drawers.) Im not like that. I prefer not to freeze. once the low is 45, she's commin out.

Sucks. We're supposed to get snow on Saturday, so no riding for me.

Last year, seemed like I had the bike out at least every week. Not once this winter, and it's been warmer this year.

Last year was my first season riding, so this was my first winter. Looks like at least 1 more week, until it warms a bit.

(i cant believe im complaining about this winter, it was the nicest in years.)

Ive had my bike away since mid november. Just took it around the block for this first time since, god i missed it!

Hello all this is my first post here. I joined last summer and have been reading a lot. I just got back riding last spring. Since it was about 14 years since I was last on a bike I decided to start small. Found a good deal on a Yamaha XJ600. I rode every chance I could last spring, summer and fall. November I finally parked it in the garage and it's been driving me crazy. About three or four weeks ago the temp here in Philly got into the 60's so I couldn't resist, I went on a nice ride around town. Seems I wasn't the only person with the fever as I saw quite a few bikes out. This only got the blood boiling more since the weather just got colder and colder since that fine weekend. However this past Friday my friend picked up his new R1 and brought me his CBR 900RR that I took off his hands. I put it in the garage and by Saturday night I couldn't take it any more. Didn't care if it was in the 30's I had to ride it. So I told myself I needed to go to 7-11 and get smokes and off I went. Damn it was cold but the ride was well worth it. Now I really can't wait for spring.

Sorry for the long read.

I'm glad I don't live that far up north, But damn, I still hate NC. coldest its been here was 14 so far and that was a fun experience. I kept on jumping up and down to keep my heart pumping and to get me warmed up.
