What means cold?????

It does get down to freezing here, but it's not enough to keep me off the bike. Just dress for it. Of course, I've never hit any black ice.

I can do 60 or above with shorts and a tee shirt. Of course without gear I dont go very fast. Just around town no more than 40 mph.

45 with full summer gear. Below 40 you really must dress for the occasion.

It's never too cold to ride. I've ridden down to 0 degrees. Got an electric heated vest to go under Joe Rocket Meteor 4 insulated jacket and then with Joe Rocket insulated pants...not a problem.

I'd have to agree...it has to be really really cold out...below 30 for me to stop riding. As long as there is no ice or snow on the road I ride. I have done so for the past 10 years.

I'm glad to hear that. I just bought my ike and i'm being told I should have waited 'cause I won't be able to ride it til summer. I just keep thinking to myself. Isn't that why man invented the jacket? How bad can it be?

As long as the high for the day is near 50 I am good to go. I always leave in the morning though, started out as low as the upper 20's
