I would tread very carefully, as this sounds like it's a scam. Any time you are to send money instead of meeting up with the seller and taking posession right then is a big red flag.

sounds suspicious. Try to see the bike in person before sending any money.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!

99.9% sure its a scam, take some good advice, never ever buy a bike site unseen.

Wanna verify its a scam, ask him to fax, or email you a photo copy of the title, or the registration, see what kind of ecuses he comes up with next.

I may not know everything about somethings, but i know something about everything!

I would NEVER buy something online through a seller who's not even in the country!

A lot of those scams involve people outside the US.

Where's the bike? Worst case, when buying something like that on Ebay you'd want to have someone in the seller's area go inspect it for you.

I'd move on...sounds like a scam.

yep. As soon as they mention another country you know its a scam. If you want ask him to email you a pic of himself standing next to the bike with a bucket of ice cream (or something else he wouldnt have a picture off). Or just contact ebay and have them pull the auction

+1 on Vash's suggestion...

I ran into a similar auction when i was buying my bike... The bike looked awesome and was underpriced by at least 1k but 'the bike was in london' (which def. reeks of a scam) ... so i told him i'd have a friend look it up and asked for the london add..of course i never heard from him.

What is it with Ebay scams and always being $3,000? It seems like every single bike on Ebay is selling for $3,000.
