maybe moving to Herndon, VA ---??????'s

We really don't know much about the area ---- living just north of Detroit now ..
my wife may be getting a job transfer to Herndon ---- but before continuing with the process she wanted me to find out some stuff ..... good wife that she is...... she is checking on the housing/schooling .. I need the motorcycle seen info

we have 3 boys- 2 of them that just started racing motoX ....are there any tracks within an hour or two of the DC area??

I have been a sport bike type junkie since ....well the mid 80's...
I know that the roads over there are much better than here -- are there any tracks in the area that have either racing or open/practice days??

How far out (in any direction) would we have to go to find 4 - 10 acres (with or without a house) that won't cost us a crazy amount(is it even possible??)

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks,
Scott

Good riding straight out west and northwest. You're on the right side of town for that. Have you checked cost of living?

Dirt riding I don't know about but believe there are some trails in the National Forests in WV, not terribly far. I KNOW the road riding is excellent there. Check it out.
