North Jersey Riders

Hi all,

I ride with a couple of guys in north jersey and we tend to ride early on Sunday Mornings. We ride up to Harriman State Park or toward Hawks Nest or out to Pa. border. We ride for about 4 or 5 hours and we ride at a brisk but controlled pace. There are no egos and we all help each other out and we are into improving our riding skills in a safe manner without going over our heads or incurring the wrath of the men in blue if possible.

Well, if anyone's interested in coming along your welcome, just drop me a line.

Ride Safe,

Marc

Yes, very nice roads near Hawks Nest and I've been to Bear Mountain/Harriman State Park and West Point many times. The roads there are awesome but the squids crashing all the time have made police presence there a bit tough at times. I also like river road on the Pennsy side.

If you ever want to meet up in one of those places for an early morning ride let me know.

XMAN....

I'm based in Manhattan and am looking for people to ride with on the weekends.

Still quite a novice (riding since March '02) and definitely trying to improve at the twisty bits so if you guys think I'll fit in with the group ability-wise, let me know when you're next out and I'll try to meet up.

Ps. Was up at Bear Mtn on Sunday and those are some nice roads !

Wow this is an old post. Anyway do any of you guys run up into the catskills. There are some pretty good roads up here, with great views. I also happend to live there, we should plan trip up this way in late spring before I leave this area for good.

EdgeRanger, will you be around for July 4th weekend? We've got a big group ride planned that weekend...probably gonna hit the dairy out in CT and possibly NY city, if traffic/weather isn't too bad. If you're around you should meet up with us.

NYC 4th of July

Hey Dan; whats up?

Well, if you haven't noticed already, the Redline site
has been shut down. There was too much imature
BS going on. Good ridence. There will still be a group coming
out for the 4th of July run, I just dont know who or how many at
this point. I had nothing to do with the shut down, and really dont care because these boneheads just wrecked a cycle club
'typing on a chat board' - How fucked up is that? I was one of the guys that started this club, and I think it's ridiculous. Like my
caption says, just "SHUT UP AND RIDE!" Anyway, I'll be there.
It's best to e-mail me direct now that I am never on the board
(maybe because it's NOT THERE ANYMORE!!!)

Going to rent a hog in Florida this month; feb17-21 with my son
details following..................

Stay in touch

-Dave
