Just picked up my bike. So tomorrow looks great for me. The tire still needs time for breaking in, so this ride should break it in nicely.

Derrick (Rain_maker),

Glad you got your bike back. Do you want to meet on rt 70 just after the 695 entrance ramp @ 7:15 PM?

Mike (BigTymer), That will get us into Rockville somewhere around 8:00 - 8:15.

That was fun!
That was the most sportbikes I have seen in one place (besides the track parking lot).
Bob, I had to roll out at about 10:20pm... just got too tired.

BTW, my tire was really low!!
I went to the closest gas station and pumped it up, the psi gauge was not working... the first corner I took scared me, the tire has been low for a long time because I was used to the mushiness.

The tire was still solid this morning.

I must have missed you guys by about 15 minutes. I got up there and hung out for awhile. Two large groups were rolling right after I pulled up. Stayed and watched some bike tricks:, burnouts, stoppies, and this guy Kevin (real name Huy) on an all-black 929 who can get some wheelies. All that fun stopped when the spinster and her co-hort the midget store manager called The Man. The hung around and wrote a ticket to some idiot who was rolling out of the parking lot with no helmet on when they pulled up. No sympathy for him cause that is just dumb.

Saw a couple chicks on bikes, which is always nice! Got to get me one of those!

The guy Kevin was nice enough to point out to me that one of my handlebars is bent! I dumped the bike earlier this summer while it was parked and never even noticed!!! For Christ's sake I was working on it last week and never noticed. I am truely and idiot! Anyway, the good thing about a 7R is that it seems everyone has had one at one point and he has a new set of never used bars he is going to sell me for next to nothing.

Anyway, I will be up there in two weeks at the regular time and channel.

Cliff, glad to hear that your tire is ok. Sorry you cannot make Saturday, whatever we do. What time are you available to ride?

FYI - a group of guys is meeting at Starbucks at 11 on Sunday for a ride out to Skyline.

What a night!!! Sorry we missed you Bob.

80+ bikes,
Some very exotic machines,
Probably 10 - 15 women riders including my favorite, The "Librarian" (Derrick gets credit for the name) on the CBR600 with the bullet holes in down the side.

Next time I'll have to go on more than a couple of hours sleep....
