Question Looking for a bike

Hey whats up everyone? Just an introduction of myself: I live in St. Paul and I am a Junior at Hamline University.

Alright now to the bikes, I sold my 94 Zx6e when it first got cold, well big mistake because it got warmer then.

But my main ordeal is I do not have a bike yet for next season and I am looking for one. Where in MN can I find some deals on bikes? I am looking at used 600s or 750s.

Thanks,
Mark

Hey Mark,

I live in Saint Paul too. I have found that Motoprimo in Minneapolis is an excellent shop. John Martin is the first honest salesman I've found in 11 years of buying road bikes. Plus they were kind enough to give me a loaner bike while my bike was in for repairs. Top notch guys. Also I have a 2002 Ducati 998 for sale if you are interested.

Hey I looked at the hitching post and they had some good deals as well. They have three stores around the twin cities.

Good luck at finding your bike.

Thanks for all the help. Previously I have not been impressed by Tousley's sales nor service. Everytime I have gone in there, they look at me and don't even give me the time of day. Even though I am 20, I have the money to buy a bike and if sales just walk around and then walk by me to help someone that is considerably older than me, they obviously don't want nor need my business. If there is a bike that is considered a steal at Tousley I will go there, but other than that probably not.

I wish I could just find a nice bike and call it done for looking.

Question Tousley

Thats weird every time i have gone in there they have been real friendly the last time i went in there to check out the R6 to decide if thats what i wanted or not they pulled the bike off the rack for me and everything, i am 25 but i don't look that old, but i asked if they would take my old bike in trade they said they could but they told me i should sell it outright and get more money for it, then he said if i sold my bike and bought a brand new R6 they would knock 200 bucks off the price, that ain't much but that somethin well i will stop ramblin thats my good luck either way!!!!

mustangman, what kind of bike do you have now that you may be selling outright or did you already sell it?

Also, where are some other good places to by bikes(either downed or mint condition bikes)?
