Michigan...a hot spot for riding?

Well, we're trying anyway. If anyone is looking for MI people to chat with on MotoZine, the Redline Forum is your best bet.

A lot of stuff is in the works for the 2003 season if your in MI and there are several clubs to join if you are anywhere near detroit. Just a heads up to anyone browsing and didn't know.

Ex Michigander

Michigan is a great place to buy a bike and there are lots of riders and clubs but....

I started sport riding in Michigan in 1979 and was pretty satisfied until riding in the Southeast Mountains. I moved south in 1996, moved back to MI for 4 months (July-Oct) in 1998 and bummed heavily. The roads in Waterloo, Stockbridge, Dexter Trail I used to enjoy suddenly looked like the Hwy 2 in Ohio.

I am in Upstate SC now, mountains are 45 minute ride and I love it. Mid 60s today and sunny. Going to take the RC51 for a spin between the races.

Point is, come on down if ya'll can. The Southern folks are friendly to Michiganders.
