Question Wisco cheeseheads?

Where is everyone from good ol' Wisconsin? I saw a post or two by YZF Rob over in the refugees section. Let's check in!

Southwestern WI has some pretty decent roads and I'm sure you've done Holy Hill area and Kettle Moraine over in your neck of the woods.

Well, it sure isn't canyon riding, but near you I'd suggest you try Hwy 83, and Holy Hill area is west of I-45, look it up on Mapquest.
St. Augustine Rd, Hogsback Rd, Holy Hill Rd. I've only been out that way once, so you'd be better off getting someone from Milwaukee or something to show you the roads.

We normally head west.

Thumbs up riding west

Yes.... Diamond has it right (IMO). To the west of Mad-City are generally the best roads due to the hills and valley topography. Check a map. Slightly southwest then west and continuing northwest is some of the best. I'am going to Chicago all weekend (poor weather anyway) but in a week or two, if it works out, maybe some of us can get out. Did you all know that THIS weekend... Sunday, I believe, is the "Slimey Crud" meeting! It meets at a corner restaurant and big lot at Pine Bluff, Straight west of Madison about 6 miles. Some ride out from there. Lots of people there. Also, for those near Milw. a great destination is Corse Superbikes and the cafe there at Saukville... North of Milw. just west of Port Washington. The road north is heavily patrolled, however! Nice Ducati, Aprilia, MV Augusta shop! Well, hope we have some late, nice weather. I am NOT tired of riding!

I will be in Leland for the Slimey Crud Run on Sunday.

I am up for any riding that is >50 degrees with winds of <15mph, and I don't even mind a light shower. My husband, though, is a little wimpier.
