Actually I've seen the site this comes from. Some guy in Sweden (?). Lays out a track on some lake and goes for it. He has several bikes set up to run on ice, and says it's a great way to satisfy his need for speed during the winter. An added bonus is learning to control a slide, using the engine to slide the back end around corners. Plus, wipeouts don't hurt as much.
