I just went too the buell site and had a look at the new line.....I hope that is not it! Anyways i must say i was a lil bit disapointed in the new line up(well if you call 3 bikes a line up). The new lightning is kinda cool has the old s1 set up but i still feel a lil bit disapointed.................Damn it Eric hook a brother up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think we're going to have to be patient for something truly differant from the XB9 series. The only thing more I could see them doing is a fully faired version and that doesn't seem likely.

With that short of a wheelbase I don't see a sport tourer or a drag rocket being built on that frame so we have to wait for a new frame to be tooled up and start rolling off the line. Wait for it. More will come.

I think we'll see at least two more additions to the lineup. Hopefully before 2004.

Finally on two wheels

I hope so i really miss having a a sport touring model in the mix. I think it gives people more options to buy. My only guess is that buell is waiting for all the older 2002 models to be sold off the floor or when harley comes out with there 2003 line. I ve heard talks or maybye just blone out rumors of a harley water cooled engine maybye buell is waiting for harley to come out first and get all the applause then they will, but i dunno. Any ways how is the firebolt hunt coming along??? You should try calling to some of these small town Harley davidsons cause i bet they will cut you a good deal. Over here in Lincoln at frontier harley davidson they have two firebolts that have been sitting around here for a while.

New Buells...

I just hope Orlando H/D doesn't catch on right away that the leftover X1's they have are now actually worth something. I am hoping to replace my M2 with a white X1W, sometime before the last one is gone. Keep your fingers crossed for me and don't sell yours, either. I think people are going to want them back in a year or so. Keep your stock parts around as well because bikes are always worth more stock.

While I'd love to see more bikes in their line-up, I like the 3 they do have. Now if I can get a test-ride on the XB9S...might just have to pick one of those up It looks like a fun little scoot!

Firebolt is a fine Buell.

By all means test ride one before you make up your mind. IMO the firebolt delivers as advertised. I've racked up about 1700 miles and only wish I had the time to rack up more.

Great new lineup!

I think the new lineup is cool. I'm trying to figure out how to afford one now. I believe there will be a sport-touring version, I'm guessing it will be a 1200 or 1270 and have a larger fairing. It doesn't need to be longer, as the current chassis has excellent stability.

I'm not suffering from insanity, I'm enjoying every moment of it.
