Does anybody out there have any experience with pressurizing an existing non-pressurized airbox?

The bike is carbureted (not fuel injected). Anything I should look out for?

No. I don't think it is easy also. Just a guess but you need to compensate for less air when the bike is at idle or going slow. You also have to compensate for more air when it is ging fast ... Not easy ...

I'd recommend looking into a kit.

These guys make one for an R1 .. call them ??

you need to go to barnes and nobel and buy a book called
Motorcycle turbocharging, supercharging, and nitrous oxide
by Joe Haile
will give you all the answers you are looking for everything from pressurising airbox to finding hooking up and how it works for turbochargers

Actually, I bought this book not too long ago. I have since rejected the pressurizing of the airbox idea and decided to go with the Turbo idea. I'm going to start making the exhaust this weekend...
