1989 ZX1000 Ninja

Hi all,

I just got the bike and am looking for some parts to make her whole again.

Looking for suggestions as to where I can find replacement body parts.

Thanks,

My best friend has an '89 ZX-10. Oldie but a goodie.

Getting a little hard to find parts for older sportbikes. My buddy has problems getting stuff for his. Your best bet is E-bay or a motorcycle salvage yard. Do a Google search with the key words "Motorcycle Salvage". You'll find dozens of salvage yards which operate on a national basis. They literally have thousands of parts. Somebody will definitely have what you're looking for.

I have no insight on parts...but that is certainly a bike I want in my stable. Do you have any pics you want to share? Friggin' classic!

Nice enough bike, my buddy rode a 85 900 for many years, the 10 is better, but for why in stable?

Well I managed to get a few parts but had to make my own cowling lowers.
I think that they look cool and will do the job.
I am thinking on going with a nice flat black paint job.

Thanks,
