The original CB750, from its introduction in 1969 to 1978, sold more than 400,000 units, or 125 per day! For 1979, the CB750's were reworked to such an extent that they share almost nothing with their predecessors. In 1979, the CB750F was the fastest 750 on the market. The new dual overhead cam engine was a significant improvement over the old, being stronger by 4.62 horsepower, and 2.22 lb's/ft torque. Coupled with a smoother clutch and new chassis, the 'F' was clearly the class of the field amongst the 750's. Power on the 1979 model was [email protected]

Should be no difference between the 1979-1982 models.
Based on the weight and power listed, the CB 750F should run high 12's in the quarter, although I could not find an actual test.
