Sad to sell my '86 Honda NS400R. Anybody else here have one?

That old school paint scheme is the bomb.

Yeah, I think the Honda racing colours paint scheme still looks cool, especially the yellow number plate area.

whats the deal with these bikes anyway. what kind of engine, and doesn't it have like 3 exhaust cans? where can you find more info, maybe I'll get one in the future, its still for sale here.

These bikes are the Freddie Spencer replica. They are 3-cylinder, 2-strokes that make an awesome, very unique exhaust note. They are very rare, and were imported into Canada only during 1986. My bike's registration number is ......xxxx003, which means it's the 3rd one into Canada. In the Vancouver area (where I live), there are only maybe 2 or 3 still on the road, and none in the bike groups that I ride with. It's a blast to ride, and can easily keep up with the 600's in the group, especially in the twisties (16" front wheel makes it very nimble).

Those are three exhausts...it's Two exhuasts and a Cannon to keep riders away

Ahhh, so that's what riders behind me think. And I always thought it was the blue smoke that kept them away!!!
