Thumbs up I love Ebay

I have been in the process of fixing up this old GPz500 and have had it about 90% done for 2 years.

I didn't finish because I could never find salvage parts and new stock from Kawasaki is freakin' outrageous.

I never knew ebay had motorcycle parts until 3 weeks ago and in that time I have found almost every part that I needed.

I may actually have this project complete in the next few months depending on people selling the last few things that I need to complete it.

Ebay rocks for old motorcycle parts. Now I'm looking at a jacket and gloves. Maybe a new helmet.

Later,
Eric

I've had success using the classifieds in sites like this one. As a matter of fact I know for sure there's at least 1 helmet and jacket for sale in there right now.

Hey Hawk... I was cleaning my office last week and found the GPZ manual copies that I was going to mail you. I kept forgeting to stick it in the mail and then it ended up burried under a ton of paperwork. Do you still want it? Drop me an email with your address if you do. Sorry about the 'speedy delivery'

Breeze, email me those links if you don't mind, I've never been able to find much for gpz sites.

Hawk, for some reason i couldn't find your e-mail you sent me. Sorry.. So i'll post these here for you and TS (Brad)..

http://sepnet.com/cycle/index.htm

This is a links site. Click on Kawasaki in the manufactures list and there will be gpz links listed there. If you go to the parts section there will be a lot of salvage yards and used bike shops and what not. It takes some digging- but you can usually find stuff for gpz's.

(Sorry, the link i had doesnot work for this one...i will check it and re-post a new addy soon)

This is a GPz 550 page- there is a wanted/for sale section and a section on part swapping between models. They also have some links there as well...

Hope this is of some help to you guys...

Rob
