Unhappy Question?

Hi everyone!! I just got my first bike recently, it's a 250 TZR86 Yamaha and I'm wondering is it possible to change a 17 inch tire for the bike cause one of my friend are selling a brand new tire for 200 dollars and i think it's brand name are ( Michelin macadam 90X 160/60 ZR 17), thanks for the help if anyone can give me some tips since i dont know much about bikes

Welcome. Nice looking bike. I'm a bit confused on what you are wanting to do. Are you talking about swapping just the tire, or the tire and wheel? I'd recommend staying with the stock sizes. And you absolutely cannot put a 17" tire on anything other than a 17" wheel, if you want to be safe.

Sorry for the confusing , so what you are saying is in order to use a 17 inch tire , you need to have a 17 inch wheel right? so is it possible to put a 17 inch wheel for my bike? would it fit? since my bike is a small bike

Yes, definitely. The size of the tire needs to match the size of the wheel. There is no "gray area" in this matter.

I am sure that it can be done, but at what cost/trouble I am not sure. Maybe someone else here can help, but I'd leave things as they are.

That's a great looking bike man. What's the performance like? Also, do you have any specs on it, like dry weight for one?
