Currently I use Oakley Flak Jacket boots for riding and while they are comfortable and durable, they don't provide high enough ankle protection for my liking. So, I've began my quest for the perfect boot. I only ride for commuting or leisure purposes and will never be going to the track so I'm looking for more of a street or sport touring style of boot. I've found 3 boots I like but don't have access to a local store that I can check them out. So, I was hoping some folks here might have some experience/suggestions on my choices.
Sidi Way Tepor:
My guess is the Sidi's provide the best protection but are least comfortable while the Dainese' are most comfortable to walk around in but provide the least protection. The Recon's probably fall somewhere in between.
They all atleast appear to come up high enough to cover the ankle bone which is what my Oakley's curren't don't do. Any thoughts on these choices or perhaps a better choice.
