Fast Company Products

Hey all...

I recently came across a place called Fast Company out of North Carolina. They have a line of Kevlar based clothing and jackets that really caught my eye.

They offer products such as jeans, jackets and even Kevlar shirts and long underwear. I recently bought a pair of the Dragon Liners (long underwear) and a shirt. I have only worn the pants once but I have worn the shirt a number of times.

My question to you all is this; has anyone had any experience with these products? When I mean experience, I mean has anyone actually gone down wearing this gear? If so, how did you (and the gear) fair? I assume, being that this stuff is Kevlar, there should be some pretty good added protection, but again, we assume, you know what happens.

Any feedback that anyone has would be nice...

I'm not sure I've even heard of them, much less having read of someone crashing in their outfits.

Thanks Kanwisch

I have been wearing these things for about 2 weeks now and overall, I don't have many complaints. I only wear the shirt when I am not wearing my leather jacket (only when I am wearing my textile jacket) but I wear the liner pants every time I ride.

They do get to be a bit warm on the warmer days, however, they don't seem to help all that much when it is colder out. Also, the liner pants don't have a fly buit in so it makes going to the bathroom a bit more fun (ugh).

I am planning on running some abrasion tests of my own with a swatch of the fabric from the shirt. I will let everyone know how that turns out. Gotta wait until it isn't freezing out though.
