Joe Rocket Phoenix pants

Wondering if anyone uses them? I'd like to pick up a pair of summer pants with knee and hip pads to use instead of jeans. Tucson is 90 to 100+ and these look like they might fit the bill?

I have a par, and like them a lot. But I ordered Med. and they are tight on me and my 34, soon to be 35 inch waist.
A rideing buddy and his wife also have them and love them, I ordered mine after seeing his.
Highly recomend.

Thanks for the reply. Are they tight all over on you? Or just in the waist? I'm 5'9" 31.5 inseam, 178 lbs, with larger than average legs. Kind of stuck between the M and L.

Thanks again.

I am 6' 200lb with 34" inseam. I have lots of room in the legs.
and even before my 34" waist started getting bigger, the med. was uncomfortable.
My wife is 5'9" with 31" waist, and she likes them a lot.

if they are anything like the phoenix 4.0 summer jacket i have, i'd definately recommend for comfort and air flow during heat.
