Frame sliders make for great xmas gifts. Or at least I think so (Because I havent seen MSF course gift cards anywhere). So when getting a pair for a friends sv650, I did some research, and settled on these guys
A few things that impressed me. 1. They only do sliders. 2. They seemed to have done their research figuring the best spot for sliders in case of a crash, unlike the guys that just bolt them wherever. 3. They use rediculously high grade bolts (12). 4. They protect their products from corrosion and sunlight, so its there to last. 5. They have their own patented slider material. Thats some effort there.
And finally, after placing the order yesterday at around 3pm, I was very suprised to have it in my hand this morning at 11:30 (we seemed to be located in the same state).
Here is a link to their FAQ page. After reading that I was sold.
Take it from someone who broke off a slider and an engine mount in a 30mph lowside, all sliders are not created equal. I just hope that the freestyle inginuity sliders I have on my bike (which should be a quality product, but the company didnt seem as knowledgable to me) will hold up as well as the ones in my hand.
