I switched from HJC to KBC...

...and was happy with the initial quality and comfort of the helmet. Actually overly surprised! Then I committed the all to common offense of dropping my KBC...the fall, from about waste high, took the first layer off, in a spot about the size of a dime. I have dropped many helmets in my life and I have never had one damaged like that! Not from that height, anyhow!?! Scratched up...yes....just my experience......good luck in your search for a good lid!!! They make a difference!! Ride safe!

I had a KBC Force S. comfort was ok, but it was a bit noisy. I now ride with an Arai which seems to fit my head a little better. Just a reminder that "tight is right". I wore a Large for a long time only to be fitted to a medium and the comfort difference was night and day.
