Ok, I am done dealing with aches and bruises and cable ties and gaffa tape, and visiting the wreckers for new bits... My F4i stunt bike is also in demand, so I figure its time to sell Scarr and return to the track, and stop drawing so much attention when I am on the road.
Time to buy a road bike. Now I have always been partial to R1's, have fixed the suspension on a mates 05 R1, and have ridden a '99 and still loved it.
So I want to get one, but do I go for a deal where I get an older model that is in top condition, and a write off same year that I can fix and turn into a track bike, or do I get a later model and hope I don't kill it on the track (like I did my last track bike...)
Or should I be sticking with the Hondas.... I'd be keen to hear what others thought about all this.
