fitting mesh jacket

Just bought a Joe Rocket Pheonix 4.0 jacket size small. Fits when I'm standing but once I'm sitting the front becomes baggy and just blows around while I'm riding. I've tried an extra small before and it was just flat out too small. Is this normal for mesh jackets?
Would a perforated leather jacket keep me reasonably comfortable in a climate with 40% humidity and 95 degree F temps(houston, tx)?

I have a Feild Sheer perforated mesh and its not a problem for me. Check to see if you have any straps mid way up to tighten it. My F/S has straps on the arm and chest area to bring them in a bit and avoid catchin the wind. On the leather side, I'm not a big fan for hot and humid areas. it has adjustment straps on the sleeves and at the waist. nothing in the mid section. Works great as far as air flow. Almost forgot I had it on

Glad to hear someone aside from me likes mesh. Make sure its zipped up all the way, aside from that I dunno what to tell ya. If it has a removeable liner, that could be the problem. My jacket fits alot looser without the liner than it does with it. It just takes a bit of getting use to.
