250 GP racer

This is a 250cc GP racer. The engine is obviously 4 stroke 4 cylinder with double OHC.
Those days this design wasn't so common. Can you find what it is?

I'm thinking maybe a Gilera or Mondial, is that a magneto driven off the exhaust cam?

I don't know

I seem to think it's a Honda. They were one of the only ones to be using 4 cyl 4 strokes in the 1960's for the 250 GP racing. But I can't find one with the cowl off so I am just guessin.
Well now I don't think it's a Honda, because of the right hand chain.

OK here are some hints.
It isn't a Honda, it's Italian. But it isn't a Gilera or Mondial....
I hope this was NOT helpful enough

Here is a picture of the complete bike.
As I was checking on the net about this bike, I could only find one picture so I decided to help you alittle bit.
To be honest I didn't know of such a bike....it may be a special bike!

Alright one more try

Ok so I am blurry eyed but I may have an answer. It's a shot in the dark because I cannot find any pictures to back this up. But Moto Guzzi made a short burst of air cooled 4 cyl. 250 cc motorcycles. So thats my last attempt at this one. It is difficult, congratulations!
