I am new to the trivia, but your starting to get me interested. I will try one of my own, maybe it's too easy for you guys but what the heck when I read about it it surprised me. What is this?

Hi maDDtraPPer and welcome to the trivia forum!

This is a really strange one....
I'm not sure about the exact model yet but it looks like one of these Indian scooters designed to be thrown with parachutes during the war.
It sure is military, and designed for this purpose.

Hi maDDtraPPer,

You spill the beans when someone (like myself) finds the exact year, make, and model.

Your trivia was very interesting. I'm glad you submited it and I enjoyed looking for the answer.

It is a British made Para scooter from 1943-1944. The name is Welbike. It was made by the Excelsior company.

Here are some interesting links.

Ok!

I got over excited and posted the answer, then I edited it and asked so I am glad I didn't spill the beans too soon. Thats the right answer! You guys use the net or have you got books to use? I just got a book on motorcycle history and I enjoyed reading it- so expect to see me trying my luck here with your trivia if you don't mind. Just give a rookie a little extra time though....
