A hard to find moped

Many interesting trivias have been posted lately.
Here is one for the strong players
What is it then?

Hi Aris,

Yes that is a difficult one.

Is it German?

At first I thought it was a '39 Adler 100, but upon closer inspection it's obviously not:

Yes, it is German Andy.
Slaintedan, it surely looks a lot like this Adler, but it is older and smaller in capacity.

Here is another picture from a different angle. This moped took part in the Athens Classic Rally last week, the poor guy was out of time from the first stage, but didn't give up!
I had neever seen such a bike so I asked the owner for info. Then I searched the net and I could find only one site with a picture, and the bike doesn't have the girder fork like tis example.
BTW I came 2nd in the +35hp category on my R75 at the rally

Andy, these Express mopeds are very nice, there is also a man's and lady's model as I saw!
It's not the same machine though, but you got the engine manufacturer right. The capacity is smaller though.
You can see that the cylinder shape and badging are different.
OK here are some serious hints for you guys
It's a 50cc and it is a late 20s model.
