Reminds me of an FZR600 but also looks a little like a CBR900

could it be an early early model Cagiva or Bimota. The Forks look like those used on Bimotas

no its not a cagiva or a bimota.
another clue,
Trevor Nation had great success racing (blank) rotaries beginning in 1988. In 1990 he won the MCN TT Superbike championship.
