Question Easy MotoGP question...

Rossi has managed to put the RC211V Honda on the pole for tomorrow's MotoGP race.

My question is, and this should be an easy one for all you Trivia guys, when was the last time a four-stroke was on the pole in the top GP class? When, where, who, and what bike?

If I remember well the last 4 stroke to have won a GP race before the RCV was the Benelli 4 cyl, but I don't know if it also had the pole position.

Yes, that is what I meant. That's what I get for not cutting and pasting. And I finally got one of these trivia .
