23 inch front wheel

Which bike that has been discussed before in this forum (the trivia I mean) had a front wheel of 23 inches diameter?

No, sorry Kevlar, you missed that one.
Well the RC was a racing street bike. 23 inch wheels don't belong on a street bike (hint)
These wheels made it handle, lets say 'interestingly'!

As far as I know only one bike had them and it wasn't a BMW.

Well, in that case...

1985 Honda XL600LM

Which was actually my first thought, but I looked at that picture, and it sure didn't look like a 23 inch wheel to me.

I remember that 23" front wheel coming out. Honda said that it was to help the bike over obstacles and as it had a larger rolling circumference, this would make it easier to do.

Do I get extra points for the explaination ?

You re right Grok, but it wasn't in the 80s.
The Honda XL250S of 1978 introduced it, and it was cancelled with the XL250R 1982 model.

You get one point for the explanation Smeg

Take a look here for the history :
http://www.100megsfree4.com/honda/h0200/xl250.htm

In fact the XL500S which was the bigger brother, appeared in 1979 with the same huge wheel, which was again dumped with the XL500R of 1982.
The 23 inch wheel made the bike unstable at high speed, but (especially the 500) were the best wheelie machines then!

And a nice picture:
